A Crash Course in Samantha Jean Tate

 

Howdy-doody everyone! I thought I would create a new blog post introducing myself since we're almost two years into blogging! 

So without further ado, here is a crash course in me, Samantha Jean Tate!

Relationship status: Single, but also not single. I like Steve. We are friends with benefits I guess? I don't know! LOL.

Pets: Sassy, the tabby cat, and Skittles the Calico cat. Skittles is also known as Doctor Professor Skittles, Skid Row, Skit, Skitty Kitty.  And Sassy is known as Sassycakes, Sasperella, Sassuella, Sassafrass.

And we kept quoting SpongeBob. That was in 2004.

Second best date, would be my first date with Steve. He let me trauma dump! LOL. And I spilled my popcorn all over his truck! LMAO. I was a ball of nervous energy because he was my crush and he made my dream come true! To be seen and liked back by a high school crush! You don't know how many stories I've written about people hooking up with their high school crush! Oh and we watched He-Man & the Masters of the Universe. We both really liked the movie. And we both thought they made Adam too wimpy. 

Worst Date You've Ever Been On? The one where I was forced to perform oral sex on a certain somebody, who I forgive but I will never forget!

Favorite type of weather? Sunny, around 72 degrees fahrenheit.

Fears: Tornados, ice storms, dying alone, wasps, hornets.

Favorite foods: Pizza (especially pepperoni and mushroom with extra sauce!), Burgers, Tacos with just beef, cheese, and ketchup.

Least favorite food: Veggies! I only like spinach, pickles, potatoes, corn on the cob/corn, cooked carrots, mushrooms. I also cannot stand lettuce! In fact, during the lettuce recall it was hard for me to keep a straight face, especially at my doctor's office because everyone made an appointment because they were sick from the lettuce! LOL.  I WILL START AN ANTI-LETTUCE CAMPAIGN!

Favorite animals? Elephants! Koalas! Cats! Dogs!

Pet Cause: Mental health.

Favorite charity? I don't donate much to charity anymore because they get millions of dollars anyway from the government. But if I had to pick a charity, it would be St. Jude because no child deserves to die of cancer! I also like to donate to GoFundMe's when a story particularly touches me or when a friend is in trouble or even an acquaintance!

Favorite books? Valley of the Dolls, The Fault In Our Stars, The Enchanted Soul, Some Good F****** Poetry (any Kalen Dion though!), Astrology For Real Life, The Cards Your Dealt, Rosemary's Baby.

Why I Relate to Lola Bunny In My Romantic Relationships

 

First of all, you need to get your head out of the gutter and focus on The Looney Tunes Show Lola Bunny, not Space Jam Lola Bunny. For real, I am not Space Jam Lola Bunny!

Okay you got your little animated GIF! Now let's get down to the funny and quirky, Lola Bunny and why I relate to her when I'm in a romantic relationship!

This is a list because its 2:04 in the morning on 09/28/2026 and I've got a doctor's appointment in the morning!  Are you ready for it?!

Here it is! Why I Relate to Lola Bunny In My Romantic Relationships!

1. She never shuts up! She loves hard and falls fast for anyone who pays attention to her (like Daffy does in the episode Double Date). I, too, will fall for anyone who shows kindness to me and pays attention to me!

2. She thinks Bugs Bunny is her soulmate because they both like bread. I also think a certain someone is a soulmate because he prefers word searches over crossword puzzles, likes to dance, and he is a Cancer sun, Cancer moon, Libra rising!

3. She outbids other women just so she can take a trip to Paris, the most romantic city ever, with Bugs so he can fulfill his obligation as her bachelor as seen in the episode, Eligible Bachelors. I almost booked a flight to Las Vegas on Sweetest Day (an important holiday for couples in Michigan!) and bought New Kids On The Block residency tickets for me and my certain someone when I was dangerously manic.

4. I call my certain someone my boyfriend when he's not around to psychology people because they have a hard time understanding that two adults with disabilities can have casual sex with each other. Lola calls Bugs her boyfriend behind his back when she picks up dry cleaning and offers to give Bugs his signature white gloves, as seen in our introduction to Lola in my favorite episode, Members Only.

5. I'm a Martian! I like sharing cheese pizza! Oh wait, that's Marvin the Martian's music video in Members Only. It's a good jam.

6. Lola really wants to marry Bugs Bunny. I really want to get married someday as well. Whether it is to my certain someone or the right person. Only time will tell.

7. Lola has a secret thing for bad boys. I too, like bad boys. And by bad boy I mean someone adventurous, kind, nice, loving, empathetic, and has a dirty mouth too!

8. Lola is close to her parents. Her dad is just as crazy as Lola (as seen in the episode Father Figures)! I'm sure my dad would accept my certain someone as the son he wishes he had if my certain someone wasn't afraid of us Tate's and came over more often. But when you're having casual sex, parents aren't even in the picture.

9. Lola overthinks. I'm an over thinker in my relationships too! And it has cost me a good amount of them!

10. Lola breaks off her own wedding to Bugs because she "fell in love" with Pepe Le Pew! She ran away with the ROGOOCC (or whatever that country clubs name is) wedding planner. I've been in love with other people and broke off a relationship just to get to my first long-term relationship in my 20s. And I was into men who weren't physically available but played the other woman. I fall in love way too much!

11. BONUS FACT! She wrote a Dear John letter on accident because she thought Bugs' note on the microwave in the episode Dear John was meant for her! She ended up becoming a Buddhist and took a vow of silence and she STILL wasn't over Bugs! Just proof that if I were to take up celibacy/abstinence again, I would still want my certain someone!

12. BONUS FACT NUMBER 2! In Double Date, Bugs gets jealous of Daffy because Lola is fixated on Daffy. He gets so jealous of Daffy that he calls himself Lola's boyfriend! And Lola falls back in love with Bugs immediately. I'm pretty sure if my certain someone who I'm sleeping with would never confess to being my boyfriend. But maybe there is someone else out there who would be proud to call me their girlfriend and let me call them my boyfriend!

Walk-ins only! First come, first served! No appointment needed or necessary. If I am with someone, you are welcomed to shop the bookstore, grab a coffee or bubble tea or beverage of your choice, or buy some vinyl records, CDs, or Cassette tapes! There will not be a sign up sheet!  Last call is at 3:30 PM. Otherwise I will be packing it up and going home and will not be returning until February 2027!

You will also be required to sign a contract before your reading so you do not sue me or Totem for any shenanigans you perform because of the cards or astrology reading. You may request a signed copy, but you will need to provide your email address (and it must be legible!) and I will scan the contract and e-mail it to you!

If you get a tarot card reading, there is a minimum of a $10 donation to be made! Unless you are truly on hard times (as everyone is going through this crap including me!) Tarot readings are 10 minutes long. Bada boom bada bing!

Big three astrology readings are 30 minutes and I will gladly accept any amount of money for these, but donations are not required for this as I am a beginning astrology student. I will have my scripts on my phone and also my favorite astrology book reference on hand to help you understand it better.

You may not touch my tarot decks. Someone really fucked with my energy and I do not want your juju or bad luck cursing me. 

You also have no right to tell me how to read the cards or the astrology chart. I do not wish to perform for other psychics, mediums, astrologers, or tarot card readers at this event unless they are open-minded and don't sit on their high horse policing me.

You all really blew January $5 readings and I will not be performing new year readings in January.  I'll be back in February for love/relationship advice/tarot readings.  And these will not be free! They will be first come, first served and a price of $25 for 15 minutes.

What's Your Life Path Number? (and tarot card!)

 

Numerology is the ancient belief system and esoteric study that a mystical relationship exists between numbers and physical events, human character, or destiny.

In my early days reading tarot cards, I tried to do numerology readings.  But as I became wiser, I realized numerology and tarot cards go well together. 

Today, I am going to talk about the Life Path number in Numerology (the life path number you were born with, not your personal year number!) I will include interpretations as well as the corresponding tarot card/tarot card combinations that go with your life path card.

Without further ado, let's dive in!

A life path number is the most important number in numerology, representing your core purpose, natural talents, and life direction. It acts as an energetic blueprint for your journey based on your date of birth.

To figure out your life path number, you add up your birthday. For example, if you were born June 28, 1984 you would add up 6+28+1984. That comes to 2,018.  So you add up the numbers until they are reduced to a single number 1-9 or a master digit such as 11 or 22. So let's add up 2+0+1+8=which equals master number 11! But if your birthday is, for instance, 12+5+1977 you would get 1,994. Reduce 1,994 to 23 and add up 2+3 = 5.  You stop right there! 5 is your life path number!

Let's dive into the numbers and cards!

If your life path number is 1:
Having a number 1 life path makes you a natural-born leader, whether you like that placement or not! 🤣🤣You are independent, fiery, and are great at organizing groups. You are probably the mother-friend of your friend group. You have a mature demeanor and are always right on top of things ("I'm right on top of that, Rose!"). You strive to be the best of the best. You may be highly competitive and yearn to be acknowledged in your work and projects. When you were growing up, you preferred to be around the adults, instead of kids your own age. Matter of fact, I bet you still prefer to be in the company of the "adults" in the room, instead of hanging out with people your own age. Or you may even be a loner and are rarely ever lonely. You enjoy your own company.

On the negative side, the number 1 life path number can be very self-centered and can be the overachievers. You also may be drawn to relationships where you feel like you have to do everything, including creating the date night or making all the reservations.

If your life path number is 3:
If you have a life path number 3, you are a great communicator! Public speaking, writing, singing all may come easy to you. You also are creative and imaginative. You are also witty and have a great sense of humor. You may also be musically inclined and have a unique voice! You are also open-minded and have a love of learning new things. You love the student/teacher relationships and would excel in both roles. But you may prefer to be the student rather than the teacher. You are also cautious with your energy and time. 

The low-vibe of being a life path number 3 is you can get caught up in gossip.  And you probably have spread a rumor or two about an enemy or if someone rejected you. You can also be a blabber mouth and ruin surprises for people close to you!

The Number 4 life pathers are dependable and trustworthy. You are nurturing and down-to-earth. You like to help others, but you need to be appreciated for it. You won't help just anyone. Family is important to you. You have a strong relationship with your mother or mother-figures. You are prone to work in the service industry because as Eek! The Cat says "It never hurts to help!". You also are on-time and punctual. You dislike being late for anything! And your word matters to you. So if you make a promise, you will keep it! You are also thoughtful and probably remember everyone's birthdays and anniversaries. 

On the negative side of having a 4 life path, is you have a need to fit in and "belong".  You can be a people-pleaser and forget to take care of yourself. It is utmost important that you remember to take care of you! Also, you have perfectionist tendencies. You might as well have been a housewife in the 1950s! 🤣🤣🤣

The Emperor makes a great manager or business owner. But he may refuse to take the risk and start a small business. He'd much rather climb the corporate ladder instead of being a risk taker.

Five Lifepathers are naturally creative and thrive in change and chaos. They are risk takers and know that change is the only constant in life (along with death and taxes). You are inclined to want to conquer the world and save the day! (Woah! Are you watching Powerpuff Girls or something? 🤣🌈⭐). When it comes to dating, you love to chase. You get bored when someone tries to chase you. You are likely to call your date and be like "Hey we're going out tonight! Wear your birthday suit!" haha. Five life path numbers are more likely to be polyamorous or be apart of a throuple. And their sex lives are adventurous! You are flirty, dirty, and thriving! 

On the negative side of the five life path, if things become too dull or boring, you are known to shake things up. You also can be a bit reckless with your life. Your tarot card that represents you is The Hierophant. Now this is so silly to me. The Hierophant is a religious leader. It's his way or the highway! The Hierophant is book-smart. And he follows the rules instead of breaking them. He loves popularity contests and usually wins them. The Hierophant is the tarot card to most likely start a cult. 🤣🤣🤣

If your life path number is 6:
If you are a life path 6, you prefer a structured and disciplined life. You are a deep thinker and extremely intelligent. You probably have your whole life planned out! And you follow it to a tea! In work, you are honest and dependable and are appreciated by your co-workers and bosses. You would also make an excellent leader in the workplace, and are probably seen as a brownoser or the one who asks for extra homework or projects. You also enjoy the finer things in life and probably would drive a red corvette and eat at the fanciest restaraunt in your town/city. You also are attractive and charismatic.

For the negative side of the 6 life pather, you are inclined to have a big ego. You also can be shallow, to where appearances matter more than what is underneath the surface. This can lead you to choosing romantic partners who are physically attractive but are dumb as rocks.

This is MY life path number! 🤣You are compassionate and generous. You also have a great sense of humor and know exactly what to say to make everyone smile and feel comfortable. You tend to be very romantic and make a good romantic partner. You also have your own fair share of admirers. You are honest with your feelings, but do not like to fight or argue.  You are smart and may be at the top of your class or become a CEO in corporate culture, or even be your own boss for a small business you create! You also love to ask questions. You love to learn, as well as teach! You are also a fascinating person and people could listen to your stories all day.

You also could have been born with a silver spoon in your mouth🤣 If you weren't born with a silver spoon, you are very much a beloved person in your community and at home. You don't further reduce this number! 11 is a master number in numerology. Your life path 11 means you are here to do something majorly important in this lifetime. You may be a universal peacemaker. You want harmony and peace in this lifetime. Or you just know how to build a house and enjoy volunteering and taking care of your neighbor. You also are very psychic. You could be a seer/clairvoyant/clairsentient/or clairaudient. You also are either very positive or very negative. The glass is either half full or half empty. You do not do things in grays. You are here to do great things and change the world by just being your self. You are also very loyal, especially in romantic relationships. Once you find your person, you never let them go.
